Cambodia’s Government In Its Right Direction
The International Republican Institute (IRI) presented Wednesday, May 28 the results of a survey conducted in 22 of 24 provinces of Cambodia among 2,000 respondents.
To the question “Why Cambodia is moving in the right direction?”, 77% of the respondents have put forward the construction of roads and 63% in the construction of schools, peace and a good business environment coming good.

At the opposite question “Why Cambodia is there a commitment in the wrong direction?”, 32% cite the prices of goods and 30% corruption.
As it is generally the perception among all Cambodians that the government refers to the ruling parties, such as Cambodia’s People Party and Funcinpec. More or less, the ruling parties refer to CPP rather than Funcinpec. Thus, it is predicted that around 77% believe that CPP is leading the country in right direction and would get confidence from voters to lead the country in fourth mandate of national assembly after 27 July 2008 election. True or false with this prediction, it is only the election result could tell the realities.
