Most people may think and agree that land business is silent as Cambodia is going to held a national election in scheduled in 27 July 2008. This situation arised after Khmer New Year April 2008. However, at some other areas, land business is normal as it is according to high speculation which land buyers may gain much profits.

Land business is almost every where of the country and it is expected that after the July election the land price will be higher. It is just expectation, but the reality is not sure yet.

Yesterday, I traveled to Sihanouk Ville and along the road national 4, I see that big land was divided into small plots for sales. Because the big plot of land is difficult to sell and small is easier. If the small plot of land is bought, it must be sure that people go to live there. But you may know that people prefer to buy for sales rather for living there. If so, it is hard to use the land for agricultural productivity. I just wonder of land allocation for agriculture and living at rural areas of the country.
