Tomorrow 13th April 2008 is the Khmer New Year day which all Cambodians will enjoy. Most of Cambodians go to their homeland and the others go for a walk to tourist sites within the country and outside country. However, some others still stay at home because of many reasons. Whatever they do in this very important occasion, they all enjoy with the Khmer New Year, the year of rat.

Rat is good or bad according to its nature. Rat is not good for farmers and home keepers as the rat may cause problems or difficulties. As I know rat is not cooked for eating and now rat is cooked, as I watched a Chinese TV. Rat is raised at farm land in a very clean place. It is very delicious for Chinese people. Meaning in short that rat is now interesting among people (for food purpose here), while food price and food security is the main concerns of people in the world.

On the other hand, rat in cartoon film between cat and rat, rat is clever. Its body is smaller than the cat, but it can win and make the cat meet difficulties.

Considering this, I just would like to say that rat year would bring help reduce concerns of food price and security and make people clearer in bringing stability of food price, including other commodities. To me, some time, rat is lovely.
